Park Bo-gum and Kim Tae-ri to Host the 2024 MAMA Awards

Actors Park Bo-gum and Kim Tae-ri have been confirmed as hosts for the 2024 MAMA Awards.

On October 29, CJ ENM announced, "Park Bo-gum will host the MAMA Awards ceremony in the U.S. He has been part of this prestigious event from 2017 until now."

Park Bo-gum shared his excitement, stating, "I'm thrilled to be part of this event that marks a page in history. I look forward to witnessing the incredible performances and hope it will be a time when we come together through music."

Kim Tae-ri will serve as the host for the Japan leg of the event. CJ ENM expressed their anticipation: "Kim Tae-ri will host on the second day in Japan, making this year one to remember through music."

Kim Tae-ri commented, "It's an honor to participate as a host in a festival filled with effort and talent. I feel deep respect for the artists and eagerly look forward to the time we'll share."

The 2024 MAMA Awards will kick off on November 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Artists such as ILLIT, Park Jin-young, KATSEYE, RIIZE, and TWS will attend the event.

The awards will continue on November 22-23 at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, featuring performances by BoyNextDoor, ENHYPEN, IVE, &TEAM, and TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER).

Chapter 2 will showcase more artists, including aespa, BIBI, G-Dragon, (G)I-DLE, MEOVV, INI, and ZEROBASEONE. Notably, G-Dragon will make his first MAMA appearance in nine years.

CJ ENM hinted at G-Dragon's participation, stating, "He has shown confidence that he will dominate the stage. However, the possibility of a full-group performance by BIGBANG is still under discussion."
