The group ILLIT has surpassed 1 million cumulative album sales just seven months after debuting.
According to their agency Belief Lab on October 30, the two albums released by ILLIT this year have exceeded 1 million cumulative sales, based on data from Hanteo Chart.
Their first mini-album, "Super Real Me," released on March 25, sold over 630,000 copies. Their second mini-album, "I'll Like You," recently recorded 382,621 copies in its first-week sales.
The group is also seeing strong performance in digital charts. The title track "Cherish" debuted at 77th on Melon's Top 100 (as of 7 PM on the 21st) and climbed to 36th by the morning of the 29th. It continues to rise on the daily charts.
The agency commented, "Their performances on weekend music shows and radio programs have been well-received, driving their growing popularity."
ILLIT is also making waves on global charts. On October 28, "Cherish" debuted at 68th on Apple Music's Global Top 100 and stayed on the chart for two consecutive days. On Spotify, the song entered the Daily Top Songs chart on October 28 across eight countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
Their debut track "Magnetic" continues to perform strongly, climbing nine spots to 85th on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S.chart and to 152nd on the Global 200 (November 2 chart). The song has maintained its presence on both charts for 31 consecutive weeks.
ILLIT made their debut in March with the album "Super Real Me," which entered the Billboard 200 main album chart. Their debut track "Magnetic" also made history as the first K-pop debut song to enter both Billboard's Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 charts.
