Yeonjun's first mixtape "GGUM" has claimed the top spot on multiple charts, marking a successful solo debut. According to Hanteo Chart, "GGUM" ranked #1 on the daily album chart as of October 29.
The mixtape also performed strongly in both Korea and Japan. It topped the Oricon Daily Singles Chart on October 28 and secured first place on the Circle Chart Daily Retail Album Chart on October 29.
"GGUM" is a hip-hop track, with lyrics comparing Yeonjun's confidence and ambition on stage to chewing gum. The catchy and unique hook, "Chewing gum," stands out as a memorable feature.
The performance for "GGUM" is equally captivating. With his long limbs, Yeonjun delivers striking choreography.
A representative praised his stage presence, saying, "He shows his mastery as a leading K-pop dancer with impressive control and fluid dance lines."
The song also demonstrated strong digital performance. It reached #1 on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart and topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 33 countries and regions.
On the U.S. Billboard chart, "GGUM" ranked #4 on the World Digital Song Sales chart for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, Yeonjun won a trophy on Mnet's M Countdown, showcasing the song's popularity.
Meanwhile, TXT is set to release their 7th mini-album, "The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY," on November 4. They will also hold encore concerts for their world tour at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from November 1 to 3.
