Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo has received the Minister’s Commendation, proving his positive influence.

The 2024 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards ceremony took place on October 31 at the Haeoreum Grand Theater, National Theater of Korea in Seoul. It is the highest government award in the field of popular culture and arts.

Cha Eun-woo was awarded the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s commendation, recognizing his role in elevating the social status of popular culture artists and once again affirming his global impact.

The Popular Culture and Arts Awards aim to boost the pride of artists across diverse fields, celebrating their hard work and achievements.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Cha Eun-woo conveyed his acceptance speech through his agency, Fantagio, saying, “I am sincerely grateful for receiving such an esteemed award at this meaningful ceremony.”

He added, “I will continue to work hard to promote the positive impact of Korean culture worldwide and look forward to showing a better side of myself.”

In February, Cha Eun-woo successfully debuted as a solo artist with the album “ENTITY,” contributing lyrics to all tracks and showcasing his enhanced musical talents.

Through July, he held his solo fan concert tour, 2024 Just One 10 Minute: Mystery Elevator, reaching fans in 11 cities globally.

In August, Cha Eun-woo released the collaborative track “Hey Hello” with pop star Peder Elias, which received favorable reviews from listeners.

Cha Eun-woo has also confirmed his appearance in the new tvN variety show *Finnish Boarding House*, set to premiere on December 6. He continues to demonstrate his versatility across various fields.
