IVE expressed condolences for the tragic loss of a young elementary school fan, a 7-year-old girl known as "A," who passed away. They sent a condolence wreath to her memorial.

On October 30, "A" was fatally injured by a reversing recycling truck in an apartment complex in Gwangju. Her funeral took place on the 1st.

A condolence wreath from IVE was placed at the memorial, as "A" was known to be a fan of the group. Upon hearing the tragic news, the members extended their sympathy.

The grieving family expressed gratitude. "My daughter loved IVE," her mother shared. "We are overwhelmed with grief, but we are thankful for the support."

"A"'s uncle also shared, "I gifted her IVE photo cards. We planned to attend a concert together, but now that promise remains unfulfilled."

At the time of the accident, it appears that the truck driver was looking at the side mirrors and did not see "A" walking behind. The police have since booked the driver, a man in his 40s, on charges related to vehicular manslaughter under traffic law. An investigation is ongoing to determine the precise circumstances of the accident.
