IVE Organizes a Special Food Truck Event for Their Company Staff
On November 4, IVE (members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) shared a new episode of their content series 1.2.3 IVE Season 5, showcasing a thoughtful food truck event they organized for their agency staff.
The members expressed their excitement about the event, noting, "We haven't filmed anything at the company since our debut, so we thought it would be nice to do something like this and share it with everyone." With this in mind, they suggested the food truck idea and proceeded to prepare meals for 300 people.
Each member took on different tasks for the event: An Yujin and Rei focused on labeling cookie packages, while Gaeul and Liz prepared the sauce for sotteok-sotteok (a popular Korean sausage and rice cake skewer). Jang Wonyoung and Leeseo made egg mayo sandwiches, even customizing options for employees who don't eat bread crusts.
An Yujin and Rei, having quickly finished their cookie labeling, promoted the event around the office, posting photos encouraging staff to join in for the meals. Their spirited marketing efforts brought smiles as they placed signs in meeting rooms, offices, and near elevators.
When the food truck opened, it drew a crowd, with IVE warmly greeting everyone, from new hires to long-time staff members. As more employees lined up, the members handled tasks like packaging and hall management, all while keeping smiles on their faces. They even revisited the company building to take orders directly, ensuring that each employee felt appreciated.
In the midst of the event, Starship artists K.will and actress Son Juyeon (WJSN's Eunseo) stopped by the food truck, adding to the excitement. After successfully serving all 300 meals, the members gathered to share their thoughts.
An Yujin reflected, "When I went back to the building, I saw so many employees enjoying our steak rice bowl. They said it was delicious, which made me proud." Liz added, "It felt wonderful to bring even a little happiness to our staff."
