BTS Maintains Steady Popularity on U.S. Billboard Charts
On November 6 (KST), Billboard released its latest chart rankings (dated November 9), showing BTS members Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook maintaining strong positions.
Jin's pre-release track I'll Be There from his upcoming solo album Happy entered the top ranks on both the "World Digital Song Sales" (No. 1) and "Digital Song Sales" (No. 3) charts.
Additionally, the song charted at No. 10 and No. 25 on the "Global (Excl. U.S.)" and "Global 200" charts, respectively, signaling a strong start for his solo career.
Jimin achieved a 15-week consecutive entry on Billboard's main "Billboard 200" album chart and "Hot 100" song chart. His second solo album MUSE ranked at No. 139 on the "Billboard 200," with the title track Who reaching No. 55 on the "Hot 100." The album also claimed the No. 4 spot on the "World Albums" chart, showcasing Jimin's unwavering popularity.
His achievements extend to strong positions on the "Global (Excl. U.S.)" (No. 12), "Global 200" (No. 16), and "Streaming Songs" (No. 46) charts, maintaining momentum even during his military hiatus.
Jungkook also set global records with his first solo single Seven and the title track Standing Next to You from his solo album Golden.
Seven held strong on the "Global (Excl. U.S.)" and "Global 200" charts for 68 consecutive weeks, while Standing Next to You has ranked on the "Global 200" for 52 and 46 weeks, respectively.
Meanwhile, BTS's anthology album Proof marked its 125th week on the "World Albums" chart, holding the No. 9 position and securing a top 10 spot for another week.
Jin is set to release his first solo album Happy on November 15 at 2 p.m. KST, sharing his desire to bring happiness to more people through music.
The title track, Running Wild, delivers a warm message about pursuing hope with all one's might. British pop band Take That's Gary Barlow participated in producing the track.
The album's final track, Longing, features lyrics personally written by Jin. According to a representative, "Jin aims to deliver a heartfelt message to his fans through this song."
