Even After All Members Complete Military Service… No Full-Group BTS Comeback Next Year

BTS's Full-Group Activities Expected to Resume in 2026

On November 5, HYBE's CFO, Lee Kyung-jun, announced during the company's Q3 earnings conference call that BTS's full-group activities are under discussion with a potential target of 2026.

While all seven BTS members will complete their mandatory military service by June 2025, their official group comeback is likely to be in 2026, considering the time needed for regrouping and preparation. Following the examples of Jin and J-Hope, who completed their service first, individual activities may precede the full-group return.

The CFO noted that while BTS's full-group activities would still contribute significantly to HYBE's revenue, the company expects a more balanced revenue mix with the growth of other artists.

BTS's potential comeback has gained attention, especially amid HYBE's slowing growth. HYBE's Q3 operating profit dropped 25.4% year-on-year to 54.2 billion KRW, with revenue down 1.9% to 527.8 billion KRW, and net income falling sharply by 98.6% to 1.4 billion KRW.
