"ATEEZ's Hongjoong holds a warm-hearted donation event again this year in celebration of his birthday, spreading a positive influence with ATINY (fandom name).

On November 7, his birthday, Hongjoong shared his thoughts, saying, 'Whenever I do anything with ATINY, it feels like the memories and emotions are imprinted deeply and last long. I thought it would be meaningful to do a campaign with a good cause together.'

Hongjoong and ATINY are participating in the '2024 Global 6K for Water Run' campaign, a virtual running event. This is a flagship water support event by 'World Vision,' aimed at helping children around the world who walk 6 km daily to access clean water.

Registration was available on KQ Entertainment's exclusive app, 'Toktok,' and Hongjoong, along with Seonghwa, Yunho, and ATINY members, joined the initiative. Hongjoong also shared a picture of himself doing a night run as proof of participation.

Since 2022, Hongjoong has celebrated his birthday meaningfully with his fans. That year, he held his first solo photo exhibition, 'From November 7, 1998,' and used the proceeds to support underprivileged children aspiring to become musicians.

In 2023, he hosted another photo exhibition, 'Worker A,' and donated the proceeds along with a personal contribution to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Beyond his birthday, Hongjoong has consistently shown interest in supporting marginalized communities. In March, he contributed to a global water project, and in May, he made a donation in honor of Children's Day.

He was also inducted into the 'Bob Pierce Honor Club,' an association of high-value donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW.
