BLACKPINK's Rosé and Popular Animation Character Hachuping Collaborate on Song 'Apartment'

On the 10th, Rosé from BLACKPINK shared a collaboration featuring her solo track Apartment with Hachuping, a character from the popular children's animation Catch! Teenieping.

Rosé posted images on her personal account showing herself and pop star Bruno Mars transformed into animated characters. In the video, Bruno Mars appears as "Bruno Hachuping" and Rosé as "Posilping." Fans responded enthusiastically, calling the character versions "adorable."

Hachuping is a beloved character in Catch! Teenieping, a hit Korean animation series popular among children. The show follows the adventures of the protagonist Romi and her fairy friends, the Teeniepings, as they embark on various adventures.

Hachuping, in particular, is the fairy of love and is widely adored for her cute and cheerful personality.

Apartment is a pre-release track from Rosé's first full-length solo album, inspired by the popular Korean "apartment game." The song's lively sound is elevated by Bruno Mars's participation. It recently climbed to 8th on the Billboard Hot 100, making Rosé the fifth K-pop artist to enter the chart's Top 10, joining BTS, Jimin, Jungkook, and Psy, and setting a new record for female K-pop soloists.
