BTS's 'DNA' Music Video Surpasses 1.6 Billion Views
On November 13, BTS's agency announced that the music video for DNA, the title track of their 2017 album LOVE YOURSELF 承 'Her', surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube at around 3:30 AM.
This milestone makes DNA the third BTS music video to reach 1.6 billion views, joining Dynamite and Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey).
DNA is a vibrant song about youthful love, conveying the message that "we were fatefully connected from the beginning, united at the DNA level." The song's electronic pop sound and acoustic guitar create a refreshing and lively portrayal of young love, with the music video beginning with a catchy whistling tune and visually engaging scenes that shift between virtual reality and outer space.
BTS now has a total of 39 music videos with over 100 million views. These include Dynamite with 1.8 billion views, Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey) with 1.8 billion, MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) with 1.4 billion, IDOL with 1.3 billion, and FAKE LOVE with 1.2 billion.
Other highly viewed videos include Blood Sweat & Tears and Butter with over 900 million views; FIRE, Dope, and Save ME each with over 700 million; Permission to Dance and ON (Kinetic Manifesto Film) with over 600 million; and Not Today, Spring Day, Life Goes On, and Black Swan with over 500 million. Additional popular tracks include Boy In Luv, War of Hormone, and No More Dream, each with over 300 million views, and numerous others with over 100 million views, like We are bulletproof PT.2, RUN, Serendipity, and Singularity.
