BLACKPINK's Jisoo Graces the Cover of Elle December Issue

BLACKPINK's Jisoo has taken the cover of Elle magazine's December issue. In a shoot that embraced the festive spirit of Christmas amidst late autumn, Jisoo maintained a bright demeanor, setting a lively atmosphere on set.

Following her recent filming for the movie Omniscient Reader and the series Newtopia, Jisoo was asked if her sense of responsibility differs between her roles as a singer and an actress. She replied, "While the energy shown in the moment might differ, both require a significant amount of time and dedication. Thus, the weight of responsibility is no different." She added, "When I receive a good script, I like to have detailed discussions with the director, as working together for a long period makes it crucial to share the same vision," reflecting her professionalism.

On the challenges of working independently in music production since establishing her own agency, Jisoo said, "There's so much to learn and decide on, step by step. It's challenging but enjoyable, and it has made me realize how many people support me. This makes the end result even more meaningful. I'm eager to share it soon."

When asked about her upcoming works set to release in 2025, she shared, "Spending a long time filming has naturally deepened my affection for these projects. I hope viewers will enjoy them as much as I did making them. There's excitement, but also a bit of anxiety."

Reflecting on the past year, Jisoo concluded, "Though this year was filled with many firsts, I felt warmth from all the support and encouragement I received. If this year was a turning point, then I hope next year marks a fresh start," expressing her anticipation for future activities.
