The upcoming film Harbin, directed by Woo Min-ho, has officially set its release date for December 25, as announced on November 18. Alongside the announcement, the first stills from the film were revealed.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Hyun Bin as Ahn Jung-geun, Park Jeong-min as Woo Deok-soon, Jo Woo-jin as Kim Sang-hyun, Jeon Yeo-been as Gong Bu-in, Park Hoon as Mori Tatsuo, Yoo Jae-myung as Choi Jae-hyung, and Lee Dong-wook as Lee Chang-seop. The stills showcase the independence fighters as they embark on their journey to Harbin.
Harbin is a spy thriller set in 1909, depicting the intense pursuit and intrigue between independence fighters heading to Harbin for a unified mission and those chasing them.
This is director Woo Min-ho's first film in four years, following acclaimed works such as The Man Standing Next,The Drug King, and Inside Men, which earned him recognition for his sharp portrayals of historical and societal themes. In Harbin, he tackles the life-and-death journey of the independence fighters.
The film also marks a reunion between Woo Min-ho and Hive Media Corp., known for producing films like 12.12: The Day and Deliver Us from Evil.
