Stray Kids (commonly referred to as SKZ) is set to unveil another masterpiece.
On December 13, Stray Kids will release their SKZHOP HIPTAPE titled 'HOP' (合), marking a new album format for the group. They announced their plans through their official social media on November 18, revealing the tracklist and online cover art, which features a blend of modern style with traditional influences.
The album contains a total of 12 tracks. As always, the group’s in-house producing team 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) takes the lead, with all members contributing to the songwriting credits.
The title track is "Walkin On Water." Another track, "U," features a collaboration with Tablo of Epik High. The album also includes tracks such as "Bounce Back" and "Walkin On Water" (Hip ver.).
Fans will also get to enjoy solo songs from the members, which were previously performed during their world tour. These include "Railway" (Bang Chan), "Unfair" (Felix), "Hallucination" (I.N), "Youth" (Lee Know), "So Good" (Hyunjin), "ULTRA" (Changbin), "Hold My Hand" (Han), and "Slowly, Together, Us" (Seungmin).
A representative shared, "SKZHOP HIPTAPE combines the acronym for Stray Kids (SKZ) with hip-hop. Like an entirely new genre, this album features tracks that define Stray Kids' unique style."
The first installment, 'HOP,' carries a dual meaning: it represents the unity of the eight members and incorporates 'HOP,' derived from the word hip-hop. The project promises exceptional quality.
Stray Kids will officially release the album on December 13 at 2 PM KST (midnight EST).
