TWICE will share the stage with Japan’s top artists as they are set to appear on "Kōhaku Uta Gassen."
NHK announced the artist lineup for the 75th "Kōhaku Uta Gassen" through its official social media accounts on the 19th, confirming TWICE’s full-group attendance.
"Kōhaku Uta Gassen" is Japan’s iconic year-end special program, featuring performances from artists who were beloved throughout the year in Japan.
This marks TWICE’s fourth invitation to the event. The group appeared in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022, with their unit MISAMO participating last year.
Since their official debut in Japan, TWICE has swept various awards, including the Gold Disc Award and the Record Award, marking their prominence.
Their album sales power is equally notable. In May of this year, TWICE achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 20 million cumulative album sales across Korea and Japan.
Their ticket power is unparalleled as well. TWICE became the first foreign female artist to perform at Kanagawa’s Nissan Stadium and has headlined numerous major venues in Japan.
Their agency stated, "TWICE, beloved for their vibrant discography, will bring something new to this year-end stage. Please look forward to it."
Meanwhile, TWICE is set to release their 14th mini-album "STRATEGY" on December 6 at 2 PM (midnight EST).
