Blackpink’s Lisa is set to release her first solo studio album.
Loud Company announced Lisa's comeback on November 20 through their official social media platforms. The highly anticipated album, titled ALTER EGO, marks her first solo full-length project.
A teaser video was also unveiled, featuring Lisa in a runway-inspired setting. She portrayed five distinct characters, hinting at a bold and unique concept for the album.
This will be Lisa's first full-length album since her debut, showcasing her musical growth as both a member of Blackpink and a solo artist.
A representative from her agency stated, “From ‘Rockstar’ to ‘New Woman’ and ‘Moonlit Floor,’ Lisa has shown her versatility. Fans can look forward to exploring her distinctive musical style in this new release.”
Earlier this year, Lisa took her career to new heights by founding Loud Company in February and embarking on solo activities. She also formed a strategic partnership with RCA Records, a division of Sony Music.
Her global influence has been undeniable. Lisa’s single Rockstar topped the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, while her collaboration with Rosalía on New Woman earned her two awards at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Additionally, Lisa became the first K-pop artist to grace the cover of Billboard Global. She has also delivered standout performances at events such as the Global Citizen Festival and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Lisa's debut album ALTER EGO is set to be released on February 28, 2025.
