Stray Kids have officially started the countdown to their comeback.

On November 20, Stray Kids revealed group and unit teasers for their upcoming album SKZHOP HIPTAPE 'HOP' on their official website.

The teasers featured a modern reinterpretation of the traditional Korean performance troupe Namsadang. The fusion of classic Hanok aesthetics with trendy, bold styling—complete with statement accessories and lip piercings—highlighted the group’s unique appeal.

The members’ visuals were striking, exuding confidence and intensity through their sharp gazes. Their hip charisma raised anticipation for the new album.

The HIPTAPE introduces a novel album format. Its first installment, HOP, combines the meaning of "harmony" (合, HOP) with the "hip" from hip-hop, reflecting a multifaceted concept.

A representative shared, “This project features tracks that redefine musical boundaries, presenting Stray Kids’ unique take on new genres. It’s an opportunity to showcase their evolving artistry.”

The album includes a total of 12 tracks. The title track, Walkin On Water, was led by the group’s production team, 3RACHA. Every member contributed to the album credits, ensuring a truly collective effort.

The album also explores diverse genres. The track U, created in collaboration with Tablo of Epik High, stands out. Other notable tracks include Bounce Back and a hip-hop version of Walkin On Water.

Additionally, fans will enjoy studio versions of the members' solo songs from their world tour. Tracks include Railway (Bang Chan), Unfair (Felix), Hallucination (I.N.), Yuth (Lee Know), So Good (Hyunjin), ULTRA (Changbin), Hold My Hand (Han), and Slowly, Gently, Us (Seungmin).

Stray Kids’ remarkable year has also seen them earn nominations at major global music awards. They have been nominated for the 67th Grammy Awards in the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media category for the inclusion of their track Slash on the Deadpool & Wolverine movie soundtrack.

Stray Kids’ SKZHOP HIPTAPE 'HOP' will be released on December 13 at 2 PM KST (midnight EST) on major streaming platforms.
