Actors Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk captivated with their on-screen chemistry.
SBS unveiled the script reading session for the upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Love Scout (written by Ji Eun, directed by Ham Joon-ho and Kim Jae-hong) on November 22. The session featured Han Ji-min, Lee Jun-hyuk, Kim Do-hoon, and other cast members.
Love Scout is a heartwarming romance about Ji Yoon, a headhunting company CEO who excels solely at work, and Eun Ho, her flawless secretary, as they begin to develop feelings for each other.
The session was attended by directors Ham Joon-ho and Kim Jae-hong, writer Ji Eun, and the main and supporting cast. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and excitement.
Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk showcased their romantic chemistry as they stepped into the roles of Ji Yoon and Eun Ho. Han Ji-min greeted the team by saying, "I'll do my best to make this an enjoyable project."
Once the practice began, Han Ji-min shed her usual kind demeanor, transforming into a cold and sharp CEO. Her piercing gaze and biting dialogue brought the meticulous character to life.
Lee Jun-hyuk expressed his excitement, saying, "It's refreshing to take on a lighter role after playing so many intense characters." His warm and caring portrayal of Eun Ho brought an added layer of charm to the character, perfectly embodying the show's "healing" tone.
The two actors' exchanges hinted at a compelling romance. Their synergy grew with each interaction, building anticipation for what promises to be a memorable drama.
Supporting cast members Kim Do-hoon and Kim Yoon-hye enriched the chemistry further. Kim Do-hoon took on the role of Jeong Hoon, a naturally privileged individual, while Kim Yoon-hye played Su Hyun, a children's book illustrator. Their relaxed yet compelling performances showcased their talent.
Other cast members included Lee Sang-hee as Mi Ae, a director at Ji Yoon's company, and Park Bo-kyung as Kim Hye-jin, CEO of Career Way, who shares a tense dynamic with Ji Yoon. Their characters added depth with their contrasting roles as allies and rivals.
Additionally, Heo Dong-won, Ko Gun-han, Seo Hye-won, Yoon Ga-yi, Yoon Yoo-sun, and Jo Seung-yeon brought a variety of characters to life, enriching the drama with relatable conflicts and competitive dynamics.
The production team shared their enthusiasm, stating, "Love Scout will be SBS's first Friday-Saturday drama of 2025 and is expected to continue SBS's tradition of successful romance dramas."
