BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have been nominated for the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) for the second consecutive year.
On November 26 (KST), the BBMAs announced the list of finalists for the 2024 awards. Jimin and Jungkook are contenders in a total of five categories, with both artists securing nominations in two overlapping categories: Top Global K-Pop Artist and Top Global K-Pop Song, repeating last year's nominations.
Jimin's solo second album MUSE earned recognition with its title track Who, which debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Jungkook, on the other hand, is competing for awards with his solo single 3D and the title track from his first solo album Golden,Standing Next to You. Both tracks are nominated for Top Global K-Pop Song, aiming to secure back-to-back wins in this category.
Jungkook has also been nominated for Top Song Sales Artist, with his album Golden included as a finalist for Top K-Pop Album.
Meanwhile, BTS as a group has previously secured a total of 12 trophies at the BBMAs, including Top Social Artist,Top Duo/Group, and Top Song Sales Artist.
