Singer Rosé shared insights into her collaboration with pop star Bruno Mars.

Rosé appeared on JTBC's Newsroom on December 1, where she discussed her song Apt. and its creative process.

During the interview, Rosé revealed, "Bruno had a clear vision. In passing, he sent me reference videos, saying, 'It would look beautiful if the background were pink,' and described the world he envisioned, from outfits to overall concepts. I learned a lot from him."

She also shared an interesting anecdote about the Korean flag featured in the music video. "One day, Bruno joked, 'Wouldn't it be fun if I waved the Korean flag?' He thought it would resonate with Korean fans, so he prepared for it. Even while on tour, he went out and bought a flag."

Rosé also opened up about the much-talked-about "kiss" scene in the music video. "Bruno asked me to do the kiss. There's a backstory to it. There was a kissing scene to match the lyrics, and when I said, 'Why do I have to do it?' he replied, 'It would look even weirder if I did it,'" she said with a laugh.

Regarding her first full-length album, Rosie, Rosé explained, "My friends and family call me 'Rosie.' When I started working on this album, I wanted to write music that felt honest to me. I thought if the songs comforted me, they could comfort others too. I hope this album resonates with many people and brings them solace."
