IVE to Kick Off 2025 with a New Comeback
Starship Entertainment announced on December 1 that IVE will be the first Starship artist to make a comeback in 2025. The group is currently preparing their new album, aiming for a January release. "IVE proved their growth through a successful world tour this year. Please support the members as they prepare for another leap forward," the agency said.
Leader An Yu-jin reflected on their year: "The world tour felt like a dream. Thanks to DIVE (fans) welcoming us wherever we went, I was truly happy. It was also a time that strengthened our bond as members."
She shared her excitement for the comeback, stating, "Although it's taking some time, we're working hard as a team with Vice President Seo Hyun-joo and our staff to prepare for our return next year."
On IVE's third debut anniversary on December 1, Yu-jin expressed gratitude: "Thanks to DIVE, we've received so much love and happiness. I hope everyone enjoys the end of the year watching IVE's performances."
Fans were also encouraged to anticipate the upcoming comeback: "Let's start 2025 strong together with IVE. Please look forward to the new album."
IVE will make their comeback approximately nine months after their last release, the second EP album I've Switch in April, which featured double title tracks Kitsch and Ascendo, both dominating the charts.
Since their debut in 2021, IVE has achieved numerous milestones. From their debut single ELEVEN to subsequent releases, every track has topped domestic and international music charts.
Their first world tour was a huge success, with 37 performances across 28 cities in 19 countries. IVE became the first 4th-generation K-pop girl group to perform at the KSPO Dome and sold out Japan's Tokyo Dome.
The group also shone on major global stages, performing at events like the U.S. Lollapalooza Chicago and Japan's Summer Sonic 2024. Their flawless live vocals received widespread praise.
In addition to dominating music broadcasts, IVE won multiple awards, including three trophies each at the 2024 MAMA Awards and MMA 2024, proving their unrivaled popularity.
