CUBE Entertainment announced on December 2 that all members of (G)I-DLE have renewed their contracts with the agency, including Soyeon, whose original contract had already expired. The other members—Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua—also finalized their renewals after thorough discussions.

The agency stated, "Based on a strong relationship of trust, we decided to renew our contracts with the dream of soaring higher. We are deeply grateful to (G)I-DLE and their fans."

CUBE Entertainment emphasized their commitment to supporting (G)I-DLE's activities both in Korea and internationally. They promised, "We will provide full support to ensure they can continue to perform on wider stages and aim for greater heights."

The group revealed the news during the 16th Melon Music Awards held on November 30 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. Leader Soyeon, who won the "Record of the Year" award, made the surprise announcement: "The five of us will stay together forever, so don't worry."

Soyeon later shared her thoughts on social media, saying, "We all agreed that we wanted to stay together. I'm so happy and proud that I'll continue to be (G)I-DLE's leader for a long time." She also expressed gratitude to her members, writing, "Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, thank you so much. I love you. Let's stay together forever, Neverland (fandom name)!"
