JYP Entertainment has been ranked 3rd globally in TIME's 2025 World's Best Sustainable Growth Companies.
The list, published by TIME Magazine in collaboration with German market research firm Statista, highlights the top 500 companies worldwide excelling in sustainable growth while maintaining financial strength.
With a score of 93.66, JYP ranked 3rd globally and secured 1st place in South Korea. Notably, it is the only company in Asia to make the top 10.
The ranking evaluates companies based on revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact, assigning equal weight to each metric. The final score is calculated on a 100-point scale.
Statista explained JYP's success, stating, "JYP Entertainment achieved high scores in revenue growth, financial stability, and sustainability. Its use of eco-friendly energy is exceptionally high, and it ranks in the top 5% of companies in terms of low carbon emissions. Achieving such balanced performance across all areas is rare."
JYP previously earned the highest grade of 'AA' among South Korean entertainment companies in the 2023 MSCI ESG Ratings. In 2022, JYP became the first domestic entertainment company to publish a sustainability report, documenting its ESG efforts and commitment to a sustainable future.
JYP CEO Jung Wook shared, "JYP continues to engage in activities that create positive societal impact. Our third sustainability report captures the achievements and efforts we've made to build a sustainable world alongside our stakeholders."
Under its vision "Every Dream Matters" (EDM), JYP actively supports children's dreams and promotes healthy living environments through social contribution initiatives.
Recently, the company hosted a charity amateur basketball tournament, with all team entry fees allocated to medical treatment for children in vulnerable circumstances.
