SEVENTEEN's THE8 Shares Thoughts on Releasing First Chinese Solo Album
THE8 of SEVENTEEN has expressed his excitement about the release of his first Chinese EP, "STARDUST," which dropped on December 4 at 11 AM via various music platforms, accompanied by a new music video.
"I've worked on STARDUST for a very long time, and I'm thrilled it's finally out," he shared. "I wanted to showcase my unique musical style."
Regarding highlights of the album, he described it as "dreamy and rhythmic," encouraging listeners to immerse themselves in its hidden emotions and romance.
The album title, "STARDUST," symbolizes cosmic stardust scattered across the universe, encapsulating a surreal and enchanting atmosphere. It mirrors THE8's artistic universe.
Comprising three tracks, the EP features the title song "Orbit," alongside "54321" and "Cold Love," showcasing a variety of genres. THE8 played a significant role as a singer-songwriter, contributing to every track. Fellow SEVENTEEN member Vernon participated in the feature, lyrics, and composition for "54321" and the title track.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to hold their RIGHT HERE world tour at Tokyo Dome on December 4–5.
