NewJeans' track "How Sweet" has earned global recognition, ranking 35th on Rolling Stone's list of The 100 Best Songs of 2024. Released on December 3 (local time), the magazine praised the group for continuing their experimental and innovative musical journey.

"How Sweet" showcases NewJeans' distinct sound, characterized by energetic electropop beats contrasted with bright, resonant vocals, noted Rolling Stone. The magazine highlighted the group's ability to introduce fresh sounds rarely seen in K-pop since their 2022 debut.

The track also made PopMatters' list of The 15 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024, which described it as "another remarkable highlight in NewJeans' discography." The publication praised the group for their natural charm and effort to push boundaries, calling the song "another peak in their artistic journey."

In Japan, NewJeans continues to captivate fans, ranking 3rd in the Musician category of Yahoo! Japan's 2024 Search Awards, following renowned local acts such as Number_i and Mrs. GREEN APPLE.
