Netflix's 'Trunk' Faces Schedule Disruption Due to Martial Law Declaration
The Netflix original series "Trunk" had to reschedule promotional activities following the declaration and subsequent lifting of martial law by President Yoon Suk-yeol.
On December 4, the "Trunk" team announced, "Today's scheduled interview with Seo Hyun-jin has been canceled and rescheduled for December 6." Meanwhile, interviews with Gong Yoo and Jung Yoon-ha will proceed as planned, with Gong Yoo meeting the press on December 5 and Jung Yoon-ha on December 6.
The series, a mystery-romance about a secretive marriage service and the characters Noh In-ji (Seo Hyun-jin) and Han Jeong-won (Gong Yoo), premiered on November 29.
The sudden rescheduling followed President Yoon's martial law declaration on December 3 at 10:25 PM, which was revoked just over six hours later, at 4:27 AM on December 4.
