BLACKPINK's Rosé is officially kicking off her solo activities.
Rosé's first full-length solo album, rosie, will be released at midnight on December 6. On December 5, her agency, THEBLACKLABEL, shared her thoughts on the solo debut and teased details about the upcoming album.
"rosie is a nickname my close friends use for me," Rosé said. "Through this album, I hope people can feel closer and more comfortable with me."
The album contains a total of 12 tracks, with Rosé personally involved in writing and composing every song. It showcases a variety of genres, reflecting the high quality of the album.
rosie is filled with Rosé's raw emotions. The tracks stem from heartfelt stories and introspections she has shared with those close to her, making for an intimate listening experience.
"This album reflects honest experiences and struggles that many in their 20s can relate to," said a representative. "Listeners will encounter a side of Rosé that is warm and approachable, yet new and refreshing."
One standout track, toxic till the end, has already generated buzz for Rosé's signature, soulful vocals. The song remains unreleased but has drawn significant anticipation.
The agency noted, "Rosé has established herself as a skilled singer-songwriter. She collaborated with top Hollywood producers to create a dynamic and diverse musical experience."
Rosé's album rosie drops at midnight on December 6, with the music video for toxic till the end premiering at 2 PM the same day.
