Blackpink's Rosé opened up about her experience with shingles caused by extreme stress.
On the December 5 episode of the YouTube series Zipdaesung, a video titled "Bangpink In Your Area | Witnessing BigBang and Blackpink Together" was released.
In the video, Rosé shared, "Work is my hobby. I'm a workaholic, and I just keep working. While I haven't reached full burnout yet, I noticed my brain stops functioning sometimes. I worry that if I continue down this path, I might end up unable to do the work I love."
She added, "The only person who can take care of me is myself, so I need to be careful. One day, I had a completely free day and decided to go out. The sunset was so beautiful, and I heard about a famous pasta restaurant. I found a corner seat there and experienced an emotion I had never felt before in my life."
Rosé also revealed that she developed shingles due to stress during the pandemic. Reflecting on that time, she said, "This is the first time I'm sharing this, but I had shingles. I kept thinking, 'What if nobody looks for Blackpink anymore? What would I do with my life?' and 'We need to keep climbing up, but what if people stop caring about us?'"
She continued, "I felt like I might become someone who loses their career at this age," expressing her honest fears.
Meanwhile, Rosé released her first full-length album, Rosie, on December 6 at midnight.
