V x Bing Crosby's Christmas Carol 'White Christmas' Praised by Foreign Media

BTS's V and pop icon Bing Crosby have received acclaim from international media for their rendition of the Christmas carol 'White Christmas.'

V and Bing Crosby released 'White Christmas' on December 6. Global outlets have highlighted the duet's significance, which transcends generations to offer a fresh interpretation.

Billboard stated, "V has become a duet partner with someone he admired as a hero," adding, "Their voices blend beautifully in 'White Christmas,' a collaboration that surpasses both time and generations."

Producer Gregg Field expressed admiration for V's pure talent, saying, "V's musical decisions were remarkable. He fully understood who he was singing with and delivered accordingly."

The American music magazine Consequence of Sound noted, "When V begins to sing, the legendary and familiar voice of Bing Crosby soon joins in. Their warm harmonies blend seamlessly over classic, cozy instrumentation."

The UK-based The Guardian remarked on the heated competition on the UK Official Chart for Christmas carols, stating, "V might score two holiday hits this season with 'Winter Ahead' (with 박효신) and the duet with Bing Crosby."

V has consistently released special winter songs every year, including 'Snow Flower,' 'Christmas Tree,' and 'wherever u r,' as gifts for his fans.

This year, he collaborated with legendary vocalists 박효신 and Bing Crosby. Known for his love of jazz, V showcased his abilities as a jazz vocalist through these releases.
