As the year draws to a close, the fierce voting for the 2024 Best Position Awards to crown this year's top position artists begins.

According to global fandom platform UPICK, voting for the "2024 Best Position Awards" will open at noon on December 16.

This event features the finalists of the vocal, rap, dance, and visual categories from this year's previous "Best Position" voting rounds on UPICK. With a strong lineup of candidates, K-pop fans are already showing an intense interest in the polls.

Candidates include past UPICK Position Awards winners such as ZEROBASEONE's Kim Jiwoong, BTS's J-Hope, and ENHYPEN's Ni-Ki. Other notable names include EXO's Sehun, NCT DREAM's Jeno, BABYMONSTER's Pharita, and BLACKPINK's Lisa.

Kim Jiwoong, who secured first place in the mid-year "Best Position Awards," is a key contender. Fans are eager to see if he can take the top spot again in this final round of voting.

The tournament-style competition will run on the UPICK app. Preliminary voting will take place from December 16 to 26, where 101 candidates will be divided into four groups. The top two from each group will advance to the semifinals.

Semifinal voting, featuring 12 finalists divided into two groups (A and B), will run from December 27 to January 6. The final voting will begin immediately after the semifinals.

The ultimate winner will receive a global advertising package, including placements in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand. If the winner surpasses 20 million votes, an additional reward of a Times Square ad in New York City will be granted.

The "Best Position Awards" will officially open on December 16. In the meantime, UPICK is also hosting ongoing voting for the "2024 Pick of the Year Finals" and "2024 Global Hot Character Awards Semifinals."
