Minji of NewJeans has transformed into a cool girl in her latest feature for the January 2025 cover of ELLE.

The cover shoot, conducted in collaboration with Chanel Beauty, took place in London. Visiting the city for the first time, Minji shared, "I saw my first snowfall of the year here in London. It's become a very special memory for me."

Amid the bustling end-of-year award season, Minji was asked about her primary focus during practice sessions. She said, "I always remind myself not to get injured. Sometimes, my passion can go overboard, so I try to channel it carefully to deliver the best performance on stage." She added, "The reason NewJeans has been able to set so many records is because we trust and rely on each other." Her deep affection for her group was evident.

When asked about her goals for 2025, Minji expressed her hopes for the group and their fans: "NewJeans remains fresh, solid, and deep as a team. Next year, I want to continue showing great music and performances, creating joyful stages, and spreading love. I also hope everyone remembers how precious they are."

Minji recently attended Chanel Beauty's Colour of Allure event in London. Among a gathering of global guests, she stood out as an irreplaceable representative of Korea, garnering significant attention.

Reflecting on her experiences with Chanel Beauty, Minji said, "The campaigns we shot in Paris and the No1 DE CHANEL trip to Gujan-Mestras in France were both precious memories. This time in London, we created new ones together, which was just as special."

Meanwhile, NewJeans continues to enjoy global acclaim. Their track Supernatural was the only K-pop song selected among 2024's best songs, further cementing their international popularity. The group plans to connect with fans through various year-end award show performances.
