Girls' Generation's Taeyeon will not participate in SM Entertainment's 30th-anniversary concert.

On December 12, Melon Ticket announced updates for SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul, stating, "Taeyeon will not be performing. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lineup change."

The notice added that ticket cancellations and refunds can be processed without fees through the ticketing center. However, the reason for Taeyeon's absence was not disclosed.

The concert, celebrating SM Entertainment's 30th anniversary, is scheduled for January 11-12, 2025, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

Initially, SM Entertainment revealed a star-studded lineup and main poster, which included Taeyeon. Presale tickets were released on November 22, followed by general sales on November 25.

Performers include Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Key and Minho, EXO's Suho and Chanyeol, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV.

Additional acts include aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Naivis, Raiden, Mavista, SM Jazz Trio, and Min Ji-woon.
