Following Taemin, Badvillain has also fallen victim to a YouTube hacking incident.
Big Planet Made announced on December 18, "Badvillain's YouTube channel was targeted by a hacking attack," adding that they are currently working with YouTube to resolve the issue.
The hacker has been identified. The agency stated, "The individual responsible for this attack is the same person behind the December 15 hack of Taemin's official YouTube channel," expressing deep concern over the matter.
Legal action is underway. "We have already filed a complaint regarding Taemin's case, and we will promptly report this incident involving Badvillain and pursue legal measures as well," the agency declared.
Badvillain and other Big Planet Made artists faced similar issues in September. At the time, channel names were changed to "Tesla US."
The agency expressed its frustration, saying, "We are outraged. We will thoroughly investigate who is behind these continuous attacks on our artists and their motives."
They also apologized to fans. "Despite employing every possible measure to prevent hacking, we deeply regret that such incidents have recurred," they said.
They added, "We apologize for any inconvenience caused to fans by this unexpected situation and will take strict measures to prevent further damage."
As of 8 a.m. on December 19, Badvillain's YouTube channel has been restored, with all original content intact.
