WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon is returning to his fans after completing his mandatory military service.

On December 19, Kang Seung-yoon will be discharged from the 6th Infantry Division. There will be no separate discharge ceremony. Kang enlisted on June 20, 2022, received basic military training at the Army Training Center, and then began his service in the 6th Infantry Division.

During his service, Kang Seung-yoon demonstrated exemplary military conduct. Upon entering the training center, he was recognized as an outstanding trainee, marking the start of his military journey.

In July of last year, he donated 10 million KRW to aid flood victims, even as a soldier. Additionally, in December, he won awards for outstanding performance in a literary competition and a reading review contest.

Born in 1994, Kang Seung-yoon is the last member of WINNER to fulfill his military duty. Fellow members Kim Jin-woo and Lee Seung-hoon completed their alternative service as social service workers and have since been discharged.

Song Mino began his alternative service as a social service worker in March 2022 and is scheduled for discharge on December 23.
