FNC Entertainment (hereafter referred to as FNC) is launching a new group for the first time in 10 years. The band, named "AMP" (AxMxP), is set to debut next year.
At midnight on the 20th, FNC opened AMP's official social media channels, revealing glimpses of the members' daily lives and the team's logo. AMP had previously been introduced as part of the lineup for FNC's Countdown Concert.
The name AMP symbolizes amplifying voices to connect with the world through music, drawing inspiration from the amplifier, an essential element of band sound. This reflects their identity as a band.
AMP marks FNC's first boy band launch in 10 years since N.Flying. Known as a pioneer in band management, FNC has debuted prominent bands like FTISLAND, CNBLUE, and N.Flying, each celebrated for their unique style and presence.
A representative from FNC shared, "We are preparing for AMP's launch based on our expertise and experience in band production. The members' individual talents and charm, coupled with high-quality music, will showcase AMP's distinct identity."
In February, AMP performed as the opening act for FTISLAND's Asia tour "Hey Day" in Taipei. They delivered a stable live performance in front of an audience of over 5,000.
Local media at the time praised their performance, stating, "The debut stage of FNC's rookie band received unanimous acclaim from local press and fans alike."
