An individual who harassed actress Shin Se Kyung for years has been arrested.

The Present Company, Shin Se Kyung's agency, announced on the 20th, "The perpetrator responsible for continuous cyber harassment against actress Shin Se Kyung has been arrested through legal procedures."

The perpetrator had engaged in online defamation against Shin Se Kyung for years, targeting not only the actress but also her family, fans, and acquaintances with threats, false accusations, and insulting remarks.

The agency stated, "These actions caused severe psychological distress to the affected parties," adding that legal measures against the perpetrator are currently underway.

The Present Company collaborated with the law firm Ascendant Yulbon to establish a dedicated team for several months. "We collected evidence and utilized every legal avenue available. Reports from fans were particularly instrumental," the agency noted.

The agency emphasized its commitment to using all legal measures, stating, "To protect the rights of our artists and staff, we will respond firmly and decisively to any similar cases."
