Actor Gong Myung has donated 20 million KRW to support self-reliant youth and water aid projects in celebration of Christmas.
On the 20th, World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, announced, "Ambassador Gong Myung has contributed 20 million KRW as a Christmas donation."
The donation will be equally divided, with 10 million KRW allocated to medical expenses for self-reliant youth in urgent need and 10 million KRW to water support projects in Bangladesh.
Gong Myung expressed, "I am grateful to share my heart with those in need this Christmas. Despite the cold weather, I hope we all have a warm and meaningful Christmas."
Appointed as a World Vision ambassador last May, Gong Myung previously donated 10 million KRW in June to support youth caregivers, marking his 10th anniversary since his acting debut.
World Vision President Cho Myung Hwan stated, "We deeply appreciate Gong Myung's efforts to promote the culture of sharing as our ambassador. We will continue working with him to enrich the lives of children in need."
Meanwhile, Gong Myung is set to appear in the 2025 TVING original series One Week Before I Die and tvN's Cheers to Sobriety.
