NCT has garnered acclaim from American and British media outlets.
Recently, Billboard released its "The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024: Staff Picks" list, which included NCT 127's sixth studio album, WALK. Billboard highlighted the album's "captivating details and outstanding production quality," stating, "This album proves why NCT 127 is regarded as a vocal powerhouse in K-pop, showcasing their confident and dynamic aura."
Meanwhile, British magazine Dazed featured NCT 127, NCT Dream, and Jaehyun on its "The 50 Best K-Pop Tracks of 2024" list. The selections included NCT 127's "Pricey," NCT Dream's "icantfeelanything," and Jaehyun's "Roses," recognizing the group and members across the board.

Dazed introduced "icantfeelanything" as "a track that opens the album with heavenly harmonies and standout ad-libs from the members. It conveys an intense longing for freedom and an inescapable desperation. Despite its two-minute length, the song clearly showcases NCT Dream's creative growth."
Regarding "Roses," Dazed praised it as "a song that demonstrates Jaehyun's value as a solo artist, steeped in classic R&B sensibilities. It evokes a sense of yearning for lost love, with gospel-inspired backing vocals and Jaehyun's soft yet emotive delivery creating an atmosphere reminiscent of sitting by a fireplace."
Additionally, U.S. magazine Teen Vogue unveiled its "The Best K-pop Songs of 2024, According to K-pop Songwriters" list, which included Jaehyun's solo track "Can't Get You" and NCT Dream's English single "Rains in Heaven."

Teen Vogue lauded "Can't Get You" as "a favorite song of the year. It's truly feel-good music, and not being a part of its creation is almost regretful." For "Rains in Heaven," the publication remarked, "A retro sound-based pop-rock song with excellent vocals and a moving chorus—a captivating track."
SM Entertainment stated, "NCT, both as a group and through solo activities, continues to be recognized for their diversity and creativity in the global music market. Please look forward to their music next year."
