Stray Kids Make History with Six Consecutive Billboard 200 No. 1 Albums
Stray Kids have set a new milestone, achieving their sixth Billboard 200 No. 1 album in just two years since entering the chart. Their latest release, SKZ-Replay: HOP, debuted at the top of the chart dated December 28, marking an unprecedented streak.
The group's six consecutive No. 1 albums—ODDINARY, MAXIDENT, 5-STAR, ROCKSTAR, ATE, and now HOP—have set a record, surpassing the likes of American rapper DMX. This achievement is a first in Billboard history for any artist since debuting on the chart.
Global media outlets like Billboard, Forbes, and Rolling Stone spotlighted the accomplishment, praising Stray Kids as "record-breakers" and the group that "shattered the glass ceiling in Billboard's 69-year history."
Stray Kids owe their success to their self-producing capabilities. Led by leader Bang Chan, who handpicked the members, the group tackled every mission in their debut reality show with original songs, showcasing their creativity from the start.
The group has consistently built an innovative musical identity. Beginning with their pre-debut album Mixtape and official debut album I Am NOT, they have taken charge of their discography. Their latest release, HOP, continues this tradition, with members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han (of the producing unit 3RACHA), alongside Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N., contributing to the credits.
Stray Kids are currently on their domiNATE world tour, performing 48 shows across 32 cities, further solidifying their global impact.
