BTS's V has demonstrated his global appeal by re-entering the UK Official Chart, where holiday classics dominate.
On December 29 (local time), V's duet with Park Hyo-shin, Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN), released on December 27, appeared at No. 35 on the UK Official Singles Download Chart and No. 40 on the Singles Sales Chart. Meanwhile, White Christmas (with V of BTS), his collaboration with Bing Crosby, secured a spot on the Singles Sales Chart at No. 91 for three consecutive weeks and ranked No. 13 on the Vinyl Singles and No. 15 on the Physical Singles charts for two weeks straight.
V's success extends to Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)ranked No. 65 on the Weekly Top Songs Global (for the period December 20–26), marking its fourth consecutive week on the chart. The song, embraced as a seasonal winter favorite, has been covered by various artists, including UK singer-songwriter Matt Maltese.
Other BTS members have also maintained strong solo chart performances. Jin's solo album Happy featured the title track Running Wild, which ranked No. 84, while Jimin's second solo album MUSE included Who, at No. 22. Jungkook's debut solo single Seven (feat. Latto) secured the 141st position on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart.
On the Weekly Top Albums Global chart, MUSE ranked No. 26, Jungkook's solo album GOLDEN at No. 68, and Happy - :) (Remixes) at No. 71.
Jimin and Jungkook further solidified their solo artist status at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held on December 27 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Jimin won Best Musician Solo, while Jungkook received Best K-pop Record, showcasing their outstanding influence as solo performers.
