TWS, Tops the New Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings.

TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) ranked first in the January 2025 New Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings.

On January 2, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced the results of its big data analysis for January 2025's new idol group brand reputation rankings. TWS took the top spot, followed by ILLIT in second place and KISS OF LIFE in third.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute extracted 13,012,882 pieces of brand big data for new idol groups from December 1, 2024, to January 1, 2025, for this analysis. This represents a 5.69% decrease compared to the 13,798,063 pieces of big data analyzed in December 2024.

The brand reputation index is a metric created by analyzing brand big data, recognizing that consumers' online habits have a significant impact on brand consumption. This analysis evaluates new idol group brands based on positive and negative perceptions, media interest, consumer engagement, and communication volume. It also includes qualitative assessments from the Brand Reputation Monitor.

The January 2025 New Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings for the top 30 are as follows, TWS, ILLIT,KISS OF LIFE, QWER, BOYNEXTDOOR, BABYMONSTER, IZNA, TRIPLE S, RIIZE ,MEOVV, ZEROBASEON, KATSEYE, EUNICE, GEENIUS, NOWADAYS ,8EIGHT, ARTMS, BADVILLAIN, NEXZ, SAYMYNAME, FANTASYBOYS, YOUNG POSSE, LOOSSEMBLE, LOST, VCHA, POW, BURVEY, CANDY SHOP, BIG OCEAN, RESCENE. This analysis reflects the influence of consumer interest and media attention on the reputation of new idol groups.

Koo Chang-hwan, Director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, commented, "When analyzing the category of new idol group brands, the total brand big data decreased by 5.69% compared to the 13,798,063 pieces analyzed in December. Detailed analysis shows a 3.05% increase in brand consumption, a 6.95% rise in brand issues, a 16.76% decrease in brand communication, and a 5.95% drop in brand diffusion."

He further noted, "The brand TWS, which ranked first in brand reputation, showed strong associations with the keywords 'exciting,' 'clean,' and 'refreshing' in the link analysis. In keyword analysis, terms such as 'first meeting doesn't go as planned,' '42,' and 'fan meeting' stood out. The positive-to-negative ratio analysis revealed an overwhelmingly positive sentiment at 92.74%."
