Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin Donate 300 Million Won

Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have donated 300 million won.

Every year-end, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have consistently engaged in charitable activities to support low-income families, children and adolescents with rare diseases, and single mothers. This past year-end, they continued their warm acts of giving.

They first donated 150 million won to Asan Medical Center to support medical expenses for patients from underprivileged backgrounds. An additional 150 million won was donated to Samsung Medical Center's Pediatric and Obstetrics & Gynecology Development Fund.

The couple stated, "We are deeply grateful that we can be of help to someone. We wanted to share even a little bit of our hearts," adding, "We hope our warmth reaches someone going through a difficult time at this very moment."

They continued, "Whenever we see our child growing up healthy, we can't help but feel a sense of debt toward those children who are not as fortunate. We sincerely hope that sick children can return to their bright and innocent selves and continue to light up the world with their presence."

Meanwhile, the couple tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their son in December of the same year. Hyun Bin is currently meeting audiences through the film Harbin (directed by Woo Min-ho), while Son Ye-jin has chosen the Netflix series Scandal as her next project.
