Actor Hwang Min-hyun is set to deliver an exhilarating overpowered action drama.

On the 6th, TVING's original series Study Group (written by Eom Sun-ho and Oh Bo-hyun, directed by Lee Jang-hoon and Yoo Beom-sang) unveiled Hwang Min-hyun's character poster and teaser trailer.

Study Group is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and is a high school action comedy. The story centers around Yoon Ga-min, a student who desperately wants to excel academically but only has a knack for fighting.

Set in the worst delinquent school, Yoon Ga-min forms a study group while navigating a bloody battle for academic survival. Despite his quiet demeanor, he is a "hidden powerhouse" who uses his strength to pursue his studies.

The series portrays the bittersweet growth journey of Ga-min and his classmates, who each have their own reasons for protecting the study group. The story is packed with thrilling action scenes that add a sense of catharsis.

Director Lee Jang-hoon, known for films like Miracle and Be with You, leads the project, with rookie writers Eom Sun-ho and Oh Bo-hyun joining forces. The series also features a cast of unique and vibrant young actors.

Hwang Min-hyun takes the lead, joined by Cha Woo-min, Lee Jong-hyun, Shin Soo-hyun, Yoon Sang-jung, and Gong Do-yoo. Hwang, in particular, undergoes a striking transformation for the role. His poster highlights his "hidden powerhouse" persona.

In the poster, Hwang's character smashes through flying pencils. With his gentle appearance masking his raw strength, he unleashes swift punches, his sharp gaze piercing through thick glasses.

The teaser trailer shows Yoon Ga-min entering the notorious "Yuseong High," the toughest school around. Determined to study, he trains his body and remains focused at his desk.

However, his academic ranking is 279th out of 280 students. The teaser tagline, "A study fanatic enters the world's worst delinquent school," hints at the chaotic events to come.

Yoon Ga-min posts a study group recruitment notice, but troublemakers are the only ones to show up. To protect his studies, he releases his hidden strength and unexpectedly takes control of the school.
