Seo Kang-jun Returns to Drama After 3 Years with 'Undercover High School'

Actor Seo Kang-jun is making his long-awaited return to television dramas after three years. He will star in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Undercover High School" (written by Im Young-bin, directed by Choi Jung-in), which is set to premiere next month. This marks his first project after being discharged from military service.

"Undercover High School" follows the comedic and action-packed journey of a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the lost gold of Emperor Gojong.

The series is directed by Choi Jung-in, known for hits such as "On the Verge of Insanity" and "Knight Flower."Screenwriter Im Young-bin, who earned recognition for his work on "Sketch" and "Bad Prosecutor," has joined forces to bring the story to life.

Seo Kang-jun will play the lead role of Jung Hae-sung, an elite field agent in the NIS's domestic operations team. Hae-sung is tasked with finding Emperor Gojong's hidden gold and must infiltrate a high school by posing as a student.

True to his reputation as a top NIS agent, Hae-sung is meticulous, calm, and always one step ahead of his opponents. However, his cover mission leads to endless chaos as he navigates high school life and gets entangled with the students.
