Actor Joo Ji-hoon is set to play a genius trauma surgeon in his upcoming project, delivering a refreshing and exhilarating human drama.
The production team behind the Netflix series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on call' (directed by Lee Do-yoon) confirmed on January 7 that the show will premiere on January 24. Along with the announcement, they released a teaser poster and trailer.
In the series, Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Joo Ji-hoon) takes up a position as a trauma surgery professor. From his very first day, he stuns the hospital with his extraordinary skills and unconventional behavior. He boldly declares his mission to transform the trauma surgery team into a fully functional "Severe Trauma Center."

The series is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It is directed by Lee Do-yoon, known for the film 'Good Friends,' and written by Choi Tae-gang, who previously worked on tvN's 'Adamas.'
