Actor Ha Jung-woo delivers a powerful performance in the upcoming film Nocturnal.
On January 7, the production team of Nocturnal (directed by Kim Jin-hwang) released two character stills featuring Ha Jung-woo as Min-tae, revealing his raw, unfiltered look.
Nocturnal is a crime pursuit drama, following Min-tae as he races to uncover the truth behind his brother's death, the disappearance of his sister-in-law, and a bestselling novel tied to that fateful night.
The stills capture Min-tae's burning rage. His intense gaze radiates tension and determination as he seeks vengeance for his only sibling's death.
In one still, he appears in a sharp suit, holding a metal pipe while overpowering a mysterious figure. His fierce expression boosts anticipation for Nocturnal, promising a gripping, intense performance from Ha Jung-woo.
Ha Jung-woo described his character Min-tae as "a fearless and unrestrained man." He shared, "I could relate to his actions, choices, and anger after losing his only sibling."
He added, "His journey was intriguing. I aimed to portray him in a raw, unrefined way and tried to express what I felt in each moment."
A production team member commented, "Following his performances in 'The Chaser' and 'The Yellow Sea', Ha Jung-woo once again shows his raw and rugged side in Nocturnal. Audiences can expect powerful and intense acting."
Nocturnal is set to premiere on February 5.
