Choi Si-won Joins "Forbidden Fairytale" as a Burned-Out Civil Servant

Singer-Actor Choi Si-won Returns to the Big Screen

Choi Si-won is making his comeback to the big screen with the film "FORBIDDEN FAIRYTALE" (directed by Lee Jong-seok). The movie follows the story of a civil servant in charge of monitoring obscene content who discovers a hidden talent for writing adult web novels.

Choi will take on the role of Jeong-seok, a government official stuck in a rut. His monotonous life takes a turn when he meets Dan-bi, a new employee played by Park Ji-hyun, reigniting his passion for life. The film promises to showcase Choi's signature comedic acting.

Audiences can expect a different kind of fun from Choi's previous works. Known for his relatable humor, Choi has previously starred in popular titles like "She Was Pretty" and "Work Later, Drink Now."

In addition to "FORBIDDEN FAIRYTALE" Choi continues his active acting career. He has several upcoming projects, including the films "Lobby" and "The Secret Behind the College Entrance Exam" as well as Netflix's "Bloodhounds 2."

Meanwhile, "FORBIDDEN FAIRYTALE" is set to hit theaters on January 8.
