Actress Park Gyu-young Caught in 'Squid Game' Season 3 Spoiler Controversy
Park Gyu-young has sparked a spoiler controversy for Netflix's "Squid Game" Season 3.
On January 7, the actress shared behind-the-scenes photos from the Season 2 shoot on Instagram, showing herself in the signature pink guard uniform. The issue arose when another actor, also dressed as a pink guard, appeared in the background. Fans speculated that the actor was one of the contestants from Season 2, hinting at a major plot twist.
Given the secrecy surrounding the guards' identities, the revelation raised concerns about potential spoilers. In response to the backlash, Park quickly deleted the post.
Her agency, Saram Entertainment, told Dispatch, "We cannot confirm details regarding the actor's personal social media."
Netflix has made significant efforts to prevent spoilers, requiring strict confidentiality agreements from cast and media. Regarding the possibility of legal action, Netflix stated, "No discussions have taken place on that matter. Please look forward to Season 3."
Park Gyu-young will play the role of Noul, a former North Korean soldier searching for her daughter. "Squid Game"Season 3 is expected to premiere later this year.
