IVE is taking on a bold image transformation.

On January 9, IVE released the concept film for Rebel Heart, the pre-release track from their third EP album IVE EMPATHY, through their official SNS channels.

The video highlighted the unique charm of each member. It opens with An Yujin slightly raising the corner of her mouth in a subtle smile, paired with a soft narration that piqued curiosity.

Ga-eul, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo, and Rei then appear in close-up shots. The members display vacant expressions, while the faintly falling snow adds a dreamy atmosphere.

They pulled off a rugged, bohemian style with a kitschy twist, leaving a strong impression with their striking accessories. The black-and-white segments in the video further deepened its weighty mood.

The video also features the mysterious line, "Love me And hate me," giving it a cinematic feel. IVE presented a unique emotional experience, reminiscent of a short film.

Prior to this, IVE shared concept photos that heightened fans' anticipation. The photos showcased a unique and mysterious mood, with each member exuding a commanding presence fitting for a "visual group."

A representative explained, "IVE has consistently sung about self-love, confidence, and assertiveness. This new album focuses on empathy, reflecting their growth and maturity."

The agency added, "With IVE EMPATHY, the group will unveil a more solidified musical identity. Fans can expect to see a deeper, more evolved IVE."

Meanwhile, IVE will release the pre-release title track Rebel Heart on January 13 at 6 PM on major music platforms.
