Stray Kids, also known as SKZ, continues their strong presence on the U.S. Billboard charts.
On January 7 (local time), Billboard announced the latest rankings for its Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts. Stray Kids secured the No. 1 spot on both charts with their latest album 合 HOP, released in December 2024.
The group has held the top position on both album charts for three consecutive weeks. The Top Album Sales chart is based on weekly album sales in the U.S., while the Top Current Album Sales chart ranks albums released within the past 18 months based on weekly U.S. sales.
Stray Kids is the second K-pop act in history, after BTS, to achieve this milestone. Their album HOP sold approximately 187,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week of release, topping the Billboard 200 chart and showcasing their strong presence in the American market.
They also made history on the Billboard 200 by becoming the first artist in the chart's 69-year history to debut six consecutive albums at No. 1. As of the latest January 11 chart, HOP remains in the top tier, ranking at No. 13.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their fifth official fan meeting, SKZ's Five O'Clock, from February 14 to 16 at Incheon's Inspire Arena. In March, they will kick off their solo stadium tour across 20 major cities in Latin America, North America, and Europe.
